LAST CLASS BLOG!

So this is supposedly the last blog, but I think I'm going to continue this blogging journey...
Anywho, well SCHOOL has been on my mind alot lately and I began to think how does a full-time student have so much time on their hands and still maintain good grades in school....hmmm?
thinking... thinking....thinking. ok, I know. IMPOSSIBLE. This semester has been so difficult for me.
HANDS DOWN, the University of Memphis is a great school , I love it, and I'm returning for my sophomore year, but darn it, it's challenging. Not complaining, but geeeezz! It's just gen-eds! Im so happy that  this semester is finally over, I can finally have a break because I need it. I have had a migrain for a week and a half and it will not go away. Everytime I turn around there is a paper due, test, quiz, this and that....(PULLS MY HAIR OUT). LITERALLY. My grades are great but without a doubt I AM TIRED. The sad part is, IM ONLY A FRESHMAN lol. But hey, I'm in for the ride. (ugh). I know that sometimes things will get hard but I only have to remain the strong woman that I and take care of my responsibilities because I am held accountable for whatever results in the end! Im juuuuuuust saying, HEY MAN, IM READY FOR THE SUMMER! HOW ABOUT YOU!

"Education is the Key"

One day when I was at work..... I was  cleaning our lobby and two customers were sitting in the lobby eating. They were carrying on a conversation and keep making strange faces while they kept staring at me.... (I HATE WHEN PEOPLE STARE AT ME)
But I went on, and did not pay it any attention...
they finally asked, "Excuse me ma'am, how much do they pay you'll to work here?"
and I replied, "minimum wage which is $7.25."

customers: "WOW...THATS IT!!!" as they shook there head...and kind of turned red in the face.

Customers: "MAn how do you guys make it off that?"

Me: Weeelllll, I'm only 18 and there isn't much I need, Im a full- time student and this is jusgt a little income, my parent help me! So I can't say for others and the hours that I receive are pretty good, so my check is pretty good for an "18" year old, now for the 30-50 year olds that work here I can't say much about them..(giggles)

Customer: ok. I guess I can understand that

*I continued cleaning my lobby and they carried on

I've always asked my self the exact same thing....I would say to myself, man I don't know how these people make a living here... I assume they are struggling, on welfare, depending on the government etc.

UGH! I wish they would take all of that away.... people are so lazy...GO TO COLLEGE! GET A DEGREE! AND A CAREER! AND MORE MONEY!

yes, I make minimum wage, but my job is also NOT my career. There is ABSOULUTELY no way I'll be there when I'm 30 and up. I'll be done before or at 22! that's a promise!

That few questions that the men asked,  intrigued me because honestly...

I dont know the answer....WHY ARE PEOPLE SO LAZY?
WHY DO PEOPLE THINK IT IS OK TO DEPEND ON THE GOVERNMENT?
WHY DOES THE GOVERNMENT KEEP GIVING?


GET YOUR LAZY BUTTS OUT AND GET A JOB

GO TO SCHOOL


GET A DEGREE
 DOOOO SOMETHING!!!


EDUCATION IS THE KEY PEOPLE!!!
