Blogging Huh?

Blogging is new for me but, I think it will become interesting as time rolls. How do you feel about it? Writing can be fun. Writing is a way to release. If you dont have anyone to talk to or any emotion you may feel, it is always great to write it down. Once writing it down, it's out of your mind, off your chest, you can finally feel relieved. It helps me a lot. How do you feel about blogging? In what ways can it help you? If you're ever unsure about something you can always receieve feedback from different minds, which may help to come to a conclusion or understand something better. My mind wonders about so much a day that sometimes I write in my journal at home, just to release. If I don't write it down, I'll keep thinking about it, which is not a great feeling ;(
As I write, i end up asking questions but never receiving feedback. Since im blogging, I will be able to posts my opinion, ideas, and questionable thoughts and receive feedback from others. This is interesting :)

  1. I am glad that you are open to the experience, Ciera. Although I journal regularly, the public nature of blogs creates discomfort for me. We are judged no less for our writing than we are judged for other aspects of our identities and our behaviors. Hopefully, we can make this blog-o-sphere a space for exploration and questioning.

P.S. Kudos to you for having the courage to speak up in your place of employment. That decision was not easy, but hopefully, you feel the rewards of not having sacrificed yourself.

  2. Hey Ciera!
Bloggng is new for me too! It's also kind of fun! really get where you are coming from about expressing yourself. Sometimes there are things that I want to get of my chest but I can't. I used to journal, but I no longer so. I think it's cool that you still are able and make time to journal. I also like to dance too, and I look forward to reading moreof your blogs! until next time, see ya!

  3. hey Ciera,
I think blogging is a new experence for the whole class in general. And I for one know how good it feels to just write down everything you are feeling. Just getting it all off your chest can make you feel great. I also know what it is like not to get feedback to your writing, so I will try to give you feedback even if I have my comments for the class. Raise your voice and keep writing.

  4. Hey Ciera,

It's been a while since we talked. I totally agree with what you said about blogging. It's another way for me to get something off my chest..you know? Oh yeah, I never knew that you were a model. How does it feel? I mean, are there times where you wish you hadn't become a model?

  5. Hey Ciara,
I understand what you meant when you said you write your feelings down on paper and then later you just keep thinking about it, but now that you can type up your thoughts and feelings on a blog you can always come back later and add things to that blog. It's like when your blogging it can be there to stay and not throwed away or torn up! So I think blogging is going to be fun!

  6. Blogging, really, who would have thought. It is definitely new to me. I am willing to try anything. I use to keep a journal when I was younger but not so much as a adult cause my time seems to be limited. I do love to write and can go on and on about anything. This blogging thing once I get the hang of it will be pretty cool I think. I already have a good feeling about this course.

  7. @ms. swan- yes it feels great!
@t.lawson-girl i have to find the time because if i don't i find myself being very nasty towards people because of the many emotions piled up on the inside. So instead of killing people with my words, i put them on paper! ;) you should try it often!
