My dreams are not that big to the point where they can't come true. All I ever want out of life is to be successful at what I love to do and the few interests that I have. I always dream of dancing professionally on a BIG STAGE! literally. So when you work hard and "meet people that know people". The outcome is BULLS***! At least here in Memphis. WAIT________ I LOVE MY CITY, but I've always been told "Cici, you have to get out of Memphis if you want to make it". Well, I don't believe that. I believe I can make a difference right here in Memphis. We have good talent right here in our city. Dancers, Musicians, Poetry Writers so on and so forth. BUT! we are overlooked by sooooo many cities. Another thing that i've noticed (THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY) about our city is we NEVER SUPPORT EACH OTHER. As if we are competiting against one another when all we need is the SUPPORT! We should be competing against the states that have such BIG MOUTHS! So if you see someone doing great, please, CONGRATULATE them. It really makes that person feel great to hear so many popsitive things. Not only does it make them feel good, it also increases the motivation, the drive. SO, CIERA WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS BLOG????? Well, lately I've been working hard at what I love to do. After a while I began to feel used for an odd reason. Realizing that HMMMM! feelings dont just come, they all have a reason. The difficult thing is finding out the REAL reason you have this certain feeling. As I sat down thinking to myself......"Ciera open your eyes." forcing myself to do so, NOW, I can clearly see:
1. I've met sooooo many NEW people (WHICH IS GREAT) OK....
2.MAJORITY of them are fradulent, betraying, phony....THE LIST IS INFINTE!!! SMH!
It hurts so bad, to give something that you love your all yet you are being played around with the entire time. How can one do such thing. So as a result, almost no one will see my face. I'm so sick of it, it's RIDIC!
MEMPHIS DANCERS (ANY DANCERS) COMMENT PLEASE! TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK, TELL ME ABOUT AN EXPERIENCE YOU'VE ENCOUNTERED. HOW DID IT MAKE YOU FEEL? WHAT WAS YOUR MOTIVATION? DID YOU ADDRESS THE SITUATION?
AND FOLLOW ME BECAUSE I LOVE TO HEAR FEEDBACK FROM EVERYONE!
Yes, you can make a difference in this city. You are an asset, in fact, to our community. Have you heard of Company d (http://www.companyddancers.com/about/darlene.php)? Darlene Winters choreographed a couple of my school plays, and although she may not remember me, I would be happy to help you make a connection with her.

I know what you mean, it’s a dog eat dog world we live in and that’s sad. I grew up hearing that I must always watch me back because the very people you think are your friends are the ones who will double cross you to save themselves. But I also grew up learning to help my fellow man when I see them in need and that is a value I hold dear to my heart. As any of my friends will tell you I keep my friends on my heart and I will do anything for them because I like to stray from what people expect. But if you keep at what you want to do I’m sure you will find that one person like me who will help you through it all and be true.
